Recpetionist - Part time (16 hours)
Wombwell Foot Clinic is seeking a new podiatry receptionist. The role would include welcoming patients to the practice, answering telephone calls, arranging appointments, taking payments, organising patient and referral letters as well as other duties to help with the running of the practice and making patients visits enjoyable. The candidate would join a friendly, supporting, hardworking team of experienced and highly skilled podiatrists, chiropodists & receptionists.
The ideal candidate
Has 1 year's experience working in a healthcare setting or admin background (but not essential)
Works in an efficient and accurate way
Is friendly, approachable and welcoming
Has confidence and competence working with computers & social media
Enjoys working in a team to deliver patients with an excellent podiatry experience
Can learn and talk to patients with the correct vocabulary
Can work flexible hours published 3 weeks in advance
Be enthusiastic and share the practice’s philosophy for providing excellent healthcare.
Promoting professionalism and being knowledgeable about the services the practice provides.
Providing patients of the practice with a warm welcome and making them feel at ease.
Regularly producing and scheduling social media posts & updating our clinic website.
Answering the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner.
Making all the necessary patient checks and following practice policy.
Scheduling appointments through email or by telephone.
Completing patient recalls and appointment reminder calls.
Offering sundry healthcare products to patients giving advice where necessary following practice policy and recommendations from clinical staff.
Part-time basis (16 hours per week over 2 days + holiday cover), this may increase slightly depending on working hours.
Exact working times are published 3 weeks in advanced and be within the following times:
Monday & Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
Candidate is expected to be able to work at least 2 Saturday's a month (9:30 am – 2:30 pm) if required. As stated above these would be made aware of at least 3 weeks in advance.
Pay £8.72 per hour for over 18-year-old candidates.

Established in 1998 by Jayne Kelly, we have developed a strong reputation for providing patients with excellent foot care and good customer service over the years.

Our podiatry practice has just undergone a renovation, modernising and extending our clinic from a single room practice to having three podiatry/clinical treatment rooms.
We continuously strive for perfection and commit to progression. The past two years have seen the introduction of Swift Microwave Therapy and Ingrown toenail surgery into the practice. We are excited for the coming year which will see the practice expand again as we add services such as; body contouring & medical face treatments offered by Beth. Add our dedicated MSK, Swift & nail surgery clinic room and upgrade our Reception area and team facilities.
